Description
TelForce Group is looking for a Project Manager I!
This is a direct hire, full time position.
Work is 60/40 hybrid, must be able to commute 2 days/week.
Location is Chester, South Carolina.
Salary based on experience $50-80K Base
Summary
The Project Manager I will work closely with construction services department to ensure maximum level of productivity and efficiency. Manages project tracking applications for assigned projects. Assists with special projects as needed. Assists with quality assurance.
Job Duties
- Works with Management and Team Scouting for new build opportunities.
- Follows project management processes and procedures.
- Project pre-planning, coordination of project schedules, creating and implementing technical inspection and quality assurance procedures.
- Maintains comprehensive tracking software to track status of projects
- Communication with internal and external stakeholders, grant compliance, invoice coordination, spending trends, reporting on project milestones and updates.
- Prepares monthly status reports on current projects (premises passed, budget status)
- Participates in special projects
- Produces various reports, including construction progress.
- Reviews work orders for materials reporting accuracy
- Collects pole attachments changes and additions. EOY reporting to 20+ electric companies.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned by management. *

- Knowledge of telecommunications construction and engineering practices and principals.
- Must be able to work outside normal business hours when necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- One to three years’ experience working with communications construction and/or familiarity with how a construction program functions is a plus.
- Ability to proficiently maintain program management software.
- Knowledge of industry regulations affecting engineering projects.
- Knowledge of company products and services.
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
- Skill in problem identification and resolution.
- Skill in reading and interpreting technical documents and forms including work orders, staking sheets, schematics and specification manuals.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to make sound decisions using information at hand.
